My first memory of doing art was as a young child. My father was an early riser and soon I was up and about at 5am too. To keep me from disturbing the family he'd have me draw pictures. I've been drawing ever since. |

Becoming a professional artist at age 14, I sold my first painting for $3.00, a watercolor of a fish. In 1967 I graduated from Sacramento State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art. Focusing my career in advertising as Graphic Artist, I created illustrations and advertising layouts for two different national retail corporations. After 25 years in the corporate world the muse of painting began again to whisper in my ear. I longed to paint and draw again. My husband Jerry and I left our big city jobs and moved to the foothills of California in the Gold Rush Country. We found low key jobs and put down roots. |

Reclaiming my youthful passion I began to paint again. I had an art studio
built beside our house, and began to establish myself as a professional artist.
I welcome any email dialogue about my art or art in general. What other artists are doing always interests me and often gives me inspiration. Please share your input whether as an art collector, dealer or just interested in art. |
